The only Christian dynasty I feel drawn to is G-d and his only begotten Son. I do not believe G-d is in the blood of any human family. I believe some “callings” are just the choice of some individuals, that’s all.

The clips of Jonathan Osteen *preaching* really are wretched.
All that money, and they can’t get his teeth fixed? And get rid of the mustache; it doesn’t make him look older, it just makes him look absurd. (I know I shouldn’t attack his looks, but I assume he wants to be taken seriously). Maybe he’s the real deal, like his grandfather was; that would be refreshing. Joel Osteen admits he was not called to preach, but his mother and his father’s congregation begged him to take over his dad’s ministry, after his dad died. Big mistake. Though he’s wildly popular, he’s no preacher; motivational speaker, maybe, but no preacher.
If this is Joel’s son, forget it.
That family is hooked on $$$$$.
