All this notwithstanding, I hope the economy stays strong! So far, the stock market has remained steady. Thank God!

Hm. Normally, coming from the private sector would be a plus on my scorecard.
Many of Trumps good appointments were such though he was hoodwinked in many case too.
The issue IS the agendas these people bring to their appointments, not that they are private sector and thus bad.
Many career government policy makers are controlled by someone too or tainted by their prestigious (not) college credentials.
Good policy and government leadership should center on what’s good for Americans not special interest. Choosing the right people is a true sign of good leadership.
Even Trump struggled finding good people. Biden of course picks nobody because he is a nobody. Clinton picked a cabinet and filled appointments with what appeared to be a circus show.
Bottom line is about 50% of appointments are a poke in the eye to the opposing party and what we’re seeing now is that Dems are Wall Street’s puppets
If this was the only problem of this Administration, we should all rejoice. As is, this is a nothing Burger, it is common to all Administrations. Indeed, if the crowd currently inhabiting Washington were simply your good old-fashioned grifters, we would be massively better off. Unfortunately, they are idealogues fanatically determined to destroy the country AND enrich themselves.
