Hasbro is the company which owns Mr. Potato Head. We all have heard of recent changes to the Potato Head line of toys.
I wonder if there are woke liberal types running the Hasbro company now...................

I read an interesting take recently on Get Woke, Go Broke. The author said that companies like Coke were not getting woke without a good reason. Coke, and a few others, are in steady decline. Specific to Coke, and there were other examples, parents have been steering their kids away from sugary drinks for a long time and Coke’s sales have been in a steady decline. Coke is facing regulations and laws, like Bloomberg’s large soda ban. The impact is the worst kind, a steady, steady decline in sales. Coke, and others facing similar problems, are trying to go woke to protect themselves from further decline, further attacks. They are saying, “Look! We are every bit as socially aware as you arer, so please don’t hurt us. See?! Here’s a big donation to your cause! Don’thurtuspleasepleaseplease!”
My guess is that Hasbro and others have been hurt by PC games and phone apps. They are trying desperately to make themselves relevant and, at least, get few clicks to put their name out there. Perhaps they think some woke people will buy their kids the new Monopoly or the new gender neutral Mr...uhm Ms? Potato head. (I suspect the woke set don’t have kids. They are kids themselves, inside, if not in actuality.)
In reality, the woke crowd is not an audience you can market to. They are perpetually angry leftists siting in their underwire in their parent’s basement just spewing hate.
It doesn’t seem right that only one company makes Monopoly.
Does Mr. P. Head now wear lipstick and a dress?
