I've written routines in PI that can read hand gestures, identify a human, track, etc., using open source code. It's not that hard if I can do it, trust me. With today's machine learning we're reaching new heights in what was once only dreamed of.
Has anyone noticed how few mistakes Amazon's Alexa app makes now in interpreting what you ask or say? Scary.
Hand gestures with today's cameras, means long distance control, recognition, targeting, etc. It's going to take war-fighting to another level also.
