Mao is still revered in China, even while his wife and the Gang Of Four are reviled... and none have sought or been given Forgiveness.

As I tell people, the dehumanizing of perceived enemies does not always lead to a genocide, but it is a necessary condition for a genocide to occur.
Dehumanize AND ERASING OF OWN CONSCIOUSNESS.
