I was hoping for Mark Steyn or a rotating group of three or four, including Bongino.
I was hoping for that as well. I like Todd Herman and Ken Matthews, but only once a week. I would have preferred those two plus Bongino, Levin (who may not be interested), and maybe someone like Candace Owens to rotate each week.
I really enjoy Mark Steyn. His clever turns of phrases and metaphor (and simile) dialog are entertaining and informative.
Sometimes, and I mean this constructively, the metaphor gets in the way of the central message.
Bongino will be great, potentially my first choice. (I didn't hear them all.) That said, if Mark were selected, I would have been happily on board.
Yes, he is articulate, can dissect any issue in common terms, and can be funny with his snarky remarks. He is my favorite commentator on Tucker. Candace Owens would be good, but may not have the chops for such a large audience. Levin bores me to tears. Bongino has a good handle on current events, but somewhat repetitious for me, much like Hannity. Plus his delivery can be dry and at some times a little pissy.
I love them all, but once people get past Steyn's british accent, they would see he is a natural. Whoever gets the slot, Steyn should have his own show.
BTW, anyone who watches Greg Gutfield on Saturday, he is starting a weekly night show in a few weeks. We love Greg and how he makes fun of the dem/soc/commies with his opening monologue and skits. Plus, he has great regular co-hosts and guests who crack themselves up over ragging on current political events. They even rag on each other in fun. Check him out.
