Masks have become just another idiotic “fashion statement”. If you want to be accepted by so-called “society” and not kicked out of the herd, you must wear one. Reminds me a lot of the Y2K hysteria, the Mayan Calendar 12/21/12 hysteria, and every other mania to grip a country that worships whatever the “in thing” of the moment is.
As I said in another thread a while back, I can’t medically wear a mask due to a lifelong breathing disorder. But after the way I was treated when trying to make an in-person payment on my Pikepass, I would refuse to wear one even if I could do so.
Unbelievable that a lot of people don’t even want to hear what their precious, all-knowing CDC said about 96 PERCENT of so-called “Covid deaths” were in people with 2 or more pre-existing conditions or co-morbidities. They ignore that info. Or, they grudgingly acknowledge it with a “Yeah, but ...”
There’s just no helping those people. OK< rant over. :-)
I’m with you on the idiocy of making masks a fashion accessory. On the few occasions I wear a mask, I use a disposable one, and then DISPOSE of it.
What’s worse than that is the implication (i.e. mask-shaming) that you don’t CAAAAARE about others if you don’t wear a mask.
