I'm well aware of the Spanish flu, since it killed my grandfather, and left my mother an orphan as a four-year old, to be raised by my g.g. grandmother.

And yes, the Spanish flu was worse, but it is, like the WuFlu, a huge outlier. Neither are "just the flu".
