I hate disappoint to freepers but both so those are poor example of pit bulls and have been crossed with God knows what

Very few genuine pits around....that blocky head gets passed around to a lot of dna
I’ve owned and cared for a half dozen I guess....I don’t allow any dog near toddlers unsupervised...
But one thing about pit bulls...two actually
They are dog aggressive....many times me an old man ...has had to get down and choke them out to unlock them....they’ve never been aggressive to me...I knocked one out with a shovel once...he was trying to lock up with my big Rottie who was actually getting the better of him. As I arrived to separate them....when he came to he submitted and rolled on his back and kenneled up....the Rott obeyed and held back as instructed

Pit bulls are also good catch dogs even if untrained they will instinctively want to make livestock heel ....which doesn’t help them with local farmers and ranchers...and I get that..
I lied....three things.....bulldogs are dumb....compared to German dogs or poodles.....they are dullards in general
Except Scott style American bulldogs ...smart....but aggressive....very aggressive
I’ve owned all the dogs freepers hate...Rotts, Dobies, Pits, Giant Schnauzers
And so forth.....duck dogs too
None should be around toddlers without close supervision and any of them with a bad streak shouldn’t be family dogs
Little children I think set off a prey button ....sad as that sounds ...in aggressive dogs
I’ve seen it with my own eyes....from a big rott eyeing. A shrill two year ....it’s scared me to the home cause I knew instantly he would hit that child given the chance ....even though his people aggression was moderate guard level...below Good Dobie awareness
Dogs are beasts....they all are.....you die in your trailer alone ....your Yorkie will stay alive eating you
People forget that...
For disclosure many Rotts would die to save the family toddler as would some Pits but Pits are not guard dogs ....not in my experience...Pits as fate would have it more often than not have bad owners in bad neighborhoods and there are so many pit looking critters around.....they are the n word of the dog family ...or white trash if it feels better
Not sure a fair answer here...my answer is when my grandkids are over the Rottweilers are in their kennel locked and the kids aren’t outside without adults

“Please find my dogs a good home. They were only being true to their nature” or some such thing.
I’d never want them punished just for trying to survive my death.
