TV ads are trying to promote their own agenda and have for a while. It can be up to the viewer to interpret the message. Case in point, for Tide (Proctor and Gamble), two white women on a couch and one says “Our children...” Behind them are two black children. Is the message Lesbians adopting blacks? A couple of neighbors? White men need not apply...again? Anything once deemed traditional is being mocked.
yes, the adverts have really taken a turn. things are not good. I said to my kid tonight that I am just gobsmacked over what is going on in this country. And she agreed with me 100%.
She’s optimistic, I’m not. But, that’s just how the two of us are, so who knows? But things are very bad right now, very, very bad.
