Many diseases are named from where they originate. That being said, it’s been reported that even the Spanish Flu was Chinese in origin, and that wartime reporting of the flu was banned by Central and Allied powers both. Only Spain reported on it, so everyone thought it originated there. My good buddy is Vietnamese and he calls it WuFlu. So no, deflecting on actual violence because of a name is not the right approach. Quit being Communist China’s mouthpiece.
