I fought in Vietnam for 17 months and we never shot at civilians because we understood that they were the people we were fighting for, whether they supported or opposed the enemy.
If we had had any honor at all, every single individual who pulled a trigger that day should have been court-martialed and if convicted of murder, hanged.
I fully agree with you.
Thank God for Hugh Thompson and his crew for stopping the massacre. Don’t think he gets enough credit.
