My mom was a nurse all her working life. She was saying the mask mandates were dumb from the start. Hospitals are medically controlled environments, our homes and streets are not.

The masks are a joke. They are being used as a symbol that “we care”. I see people on grocery stores with them on their chins, under their noses and some people really get into the designer types to show off. I saw a guy drop one on the sidewalk, pick it up and put it back on. We will, someday, look back at this era and roll our eyes. (I hope)

And THAT is the money shot. Real PPE is specific to the CONTROLLED environment it’s used in.

The ‘official’ word on mask effectiveness is just a valid as their “two weeks to flatten the curve.”
