It’s well past time to purge the communists from the US military.
There is not one branch of the military that should be using social media..........Its the gateway to hell
I come from a heavily military family. Today’s military isn’t what we tend to think of when we salute and support “our military”. They have been scrubbed mostly clean of patriotism, pro-Americanism and all-around good sense. They are not promoted on merit, but on political savvy and ability to us the “correct” language. High ranking officers are now those who are particularly good at that game, not who are worthy leaders. Remember, they came up through the Clinton, W, and 0bama administrations.
(I know there are exceptions - like my two sons. I’m talking generally.)
An apology is not good enough. If a uniformed member of the United States military threatens an American civilian for exercising his 1st Amendment rights, that member must be punished severely and dismissed from the military. Would hope Tucker Carlson and anyone else similarly attacked would file a lawsuit against that vile individual for violation of his civil rights.
If nobody is publicly fired or discharged, no lesson learned.

The Founding Fathers were very wary of standing armies because they knew how they had been used by governments in the past. Elbridge Gerry even wanted a maximum size for the army to be incorporated in the Constitution (Washington squelched that pretty easily). Obviously we need an Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Space Force and Coast Guard, but to protect the country, not to tyrannize its citizens.
Unfortunately a lot of the America hating leftists that Obama installed have risen to the top of the ranks--even if some senior leaders are disgusted with the progressive socialist agenda the regime is forcing on the men and women in uniform, they won't speak out for fear of losing everything they worked for.

There was a recent case at the Naval Academy where a midshipman was being discharged about saying negative things about the BLM movement on social media. It came to light that a number of midshipman had said disparaging remarks about President Trump, the commander-in-chief. Not was done about the latter although it is a violation of the UMCJ.
The military being corrupted by PC isn’t exactly breaking news. Cruz had 4 years to root out PC in the military. AFAIK the GOP Senate made no such effort on that front. Another letter from a useless Senator changes nothing.
We are human and we messed up is a mistake, accident.
What was done was direct and intentional, it was thought about and meant, not a ‘mistake’.
They embarrassed us all with that little wokey, woke nonsense in front of the world.
What is needed is an apology and we were WRONG.

Not that way at this point. It’s a mix and they are getting pushed aside. I got some great conversations yesterday with AD’s that show me that sentiment is being pushed aside.
