Do you have any idea how controlled live frag hand grenades are? There is about as much chance of finding one in some thugs drawer as there would be of finding a 5000 pound laser guided bomb in his trunk. It’s not going to happen.

I don’t agree. WE have a border over which flows tons of drugs, child trafficking victims, illegals etc. A handgrenade would be nothing.
If you believe a military frag grenade would be nothing then again you clearly don’t understand how tightly controlled they are. The chances a police officer will ever see one is statistically ZERO.
When I read this story right here on FR I knew without any additional information there was no live grenade involved and I was correct. What was found was a stun device which is not even close to the same thing and they are charging him as if he had a real explosive hand grenade and reported it as such. We call that LYING.
