Marines normally do not salute indoors.
Exceptions are under cover\under arms.
If you are under arms you are under cover.
A West Wing Sentry Marine is under cover but doesn't appear to be under arms.
I don't know what the exceptions might be, if any, for West Wing Sentry Marines, for saluting indoors.
I don't recall ever seeing it and I didn't find any specifics about it so far.
maybe some Marine gurus here can chime in.
