Note the “Marine” on the left as Biden approaches and ascends the stairs. Notice anything? Compare with the “Marine” on the right. Look at the salutes. The one on the left doesn’t appear to be saluting, he looks like he’s pointing to his temple with his index finger.

I kind of think neither one knows how to salute.

I think their costumes may not fit them very well. I think the one that appeared to be pointing to their head may be female - which was not what I assume at first.

I don't know the uniforms at all but the one on the right seems to be too big for him and tailored in at the waist and flared out at the bottom, like  a woman's jacket.

The one on the right's costume jacket looks too long for him, and the armhole of the sleeves seems to be drooping, sleeves a little too long.

They don't 'read' like actual military.

Even the one that stands behind Xiden (to catch him) when he climbs the stairs kind of 'dithers' like Colonel Klink in the od television Hogan's Heroes (or is that a form of mincing?).

Looks like I'm wrong. I should have compared it to footage from the second angle before I posted that.

Apparently the wind and the poor lighting/photography in the first one cast a very different appearance because the second angle, below, they both look male and the one on the right seems to have a more 'normal' fitting costume, I think. I still don't think the salutes look quite right.
