I’m taking ivermectin prophylactically. My second dose was today. I’m still trying to confirm whether I start taking it weekly from dose 1 on Wednesday or from today’s dose.
I got a lot of very helpful advice from posters here about filling empty capsules myself to avoid the bad taste of the paste and I did just that. We weren’t sure whether the gelatin would hold up over a period of days with the ivermectin inside, but so far, so good. The capsule was still firm when I took it today.
I have a mandatory travel-related covid test on Sunday, then again before I try to board the plane to return home, and yet again when I arrive at the border in Canada. I don’t want to test + on any of the tests, hence the prophylactic ivermectin.
Gelatin will hold up with something that's heavy on the fat (oil). The vegan capsules are only good for dry stuff.
