Vindman has his promotion to full Colonel despite his part in deception, pushed heavily in public by the forces of overthrow, to help torpedo a sitting president.

Some people get book deals with lucrative signing advances as their reward (McMaster, Obamas, etc.) for their service to the DS. Others get plum assignments, while still others get promotions. The left always rewards their foot soldiers with money stolen from the taxpayers.
Doesn’t give one much faith in the military either, if they are promoting these types.
