Thanks for that recipe link link. I live in a loquat neighborhood and our childhood neighbor a few doors away had a nice tree. The pie recipe sounds like the one we tried. Think of making an apricot pie but with a bit more work. Lots of seeds to remove and you need to pre-cook the filling a bit. Wonderful flavor.
