Seriously. These guys that spit out stuff like this I don’t understand. Unless they’re just impenetrably stupid they have to know it’s not going to benefit them personally, nor their party generally, to make statements like this. The proper tone, genius, is “While from everything I see, I think the election results were in order, it’s good they we make sure that elections, the cornerstone of our democracy, are safeguarded.”
