Because the ones doing the recording had an agenda / were not impartial. It would have been contrary to their interests to list those who expressed doubt. What you want is a skeptic in there, taking names.
By the way: You say "500." List their names and addresses, please. If you can't, it's "hearsay," and no court would give credence.

It is not hearsay when they basically suffered and many died for their beliefs. Your standard of evidence would knock out 99% of what gets admitted into courts of law so it is completely invalid.
