The question is whether or not what’s present in the semen in the man who had it years ago is capable of infecting anyone today.

Not directly mentioned, as I recall, is whether the individual overcame the ebola virus by himself,
or was assisted by being a recipient of ebola vaccines, which may have some bearing on the testing results.
As stated earlier, this is a unique and unexpected result of gene testing, and will require further study and independent testing.
