The CDC has no police power.
Many of us simply ignore all advice from CDC, FDA, NIH...

CDC is tasked with two responsibilities.
First, to minimize infections, hospitalizations, and deaths. Second, to make themselves look good.
All their recommendations are geared to those.
They are not tasked with helping us enjoy life.
