For most parents, the demonization of capitalism is the least of it. They say that their children tell them they’re afraid to speak up in class. Most of all, they worry that the school’s new plan to become an “anti-racist institution” — unveiled this July, in a 20-page document — is making their kids fixate on race and attach importance to it in ways that strike them as grotesque.

The difference between the American elite of the 2020s and the Soviet elite is not a matter of groupthink, atheism, and collectivist ideology, but rather the rejection of fundamental logic and objectivity. For all their flaws, the Communist party elite emphasized scholarship and self discipline. The American elite do not. The saving grace for us has been the market economy, but with the abolition of merit and economic freedom, our condition will resemble the USSR, but a Soviet style system run by incompetents.

Read this and cry. Then get so angry “that I’m not gonna take this any more” (”Network”), and do something about it.

* Stop all donations to the “woke and racist” schools your kids go to.
* Speak up for the classics, including “To Kill a Mockingbird”. It contains more observations about racial discrimination and injustice from the past thatn most leftist “anti-racists” know about, but it also contains great lessons in “humanity, caring, justice, reform, and a reality for a specific time”.

I was lucky to meet Mary Badham (Scout) and William Windom (WW2 paratrooper, D-Day, I believe St. Eglise de Mer) the sheriff, Gomer?) and talk a little with them. Their characters revealed so much about the good and bad of humanity and the view that things had to be changed through gradual improvements, esp. in the judicial system and common sense.

The statements of Gregory Peck did the same in more powerful oratorical terms, something today’s students need to learn about.

That is why the Left wants to ban these types of books. They “speak truth to power” and reveal “goodness among dark things”.

The “New Nazis” are trying to take over our educational systems, just like the Nazis did in Germany and the Communists have done in every country they either conquered or occupied (for a while).

Now they are “here”. Re the Liberals/Leftists, as Walt Kelley’s cartoon character POGO once said, “We have met the enemy and he is us”.

We cannot let it remain that way. Take the war for American culture, education and civilization to the Left Enemy and destroy them, NOW!
