I think that’s exactly the approach to take I
live out here in Uber Left wing niur at San Francisco Bay Area and I just throw the mask on on my face as I walk in the front of the store
and then just slide it down on my chin and nobody ever says anything
and that way you’re not raising a ruckus you’re “” complying “” and you know nobody gives a crap and you’re not restricting your breathing
I mean I think that’s the best approach to take in blue states m
It’s kind of like not wanting to get on the IRS radar for example
I’m on the SF Peninsula by Mountain View. I put a mask on when I walk into the store and take it off as soon as I exit the cashier. So fed up with this crap.
I took my son and girlfriend to brunch on Sunday. We parked right in front of the restaurant. It’s a ten second walk to the patio in the rear. My son wanted me to mask up for the short walk to the table. He said it is ok to be seated and only then can we take the masks off. I refuse to play that stupid charade and point out to him how utterly ineffective that is, that NOBODY is going to catch a disease walking in the open air with nobody else on the walk to the table. Then, of course, all these people were sitting next to each other at the tables for an hour or more.
It’s the utter lack of any common sense of critical thinking about this that really gets me. People have zero ability to perform the most rudimentary risk assessment on their own. I’m surprised such people don’t step off curbs right into the path of an oncoming car.
I do the same in Smith's grocery and WalMart in Eastern Nevada (mandated masks). Some icy stares from the Karens but nothing else. People are getting sick of this crap.
