Not from me.

Saw Springsteen in 1984 at the Carrier Dome. He extended his Born in the USA tour and his last stop was 2 night in Syracuse. Best concert I ever saw and it lasted about 4 hours. He definitely gave the crowd their moneys worth.

Never cared much for the GD regardless of their politics.

I was at that show. I worked in event production at the Carrier Dome in my junior and senior year @ SU.

I set up for that show on Weds & Thursday. He and the band came in Thursday night to do sound checks. Bruce came out and said hello to all of us. He seemed like a regular guy back then. At the time, the Dome was the biggest venue he had ever played. The Friday night show me and a SU football player were security on one of the rear sound towers in the back. We typically hired the SU football team for security.
The biggest guys we stuck between the stage and the front row.

The Saturday night show I caught the second act from a luxury box because after the show was over we had to tear down everything and pack it into the trucks. After that we converted the Dome back to the basketball arena for the SU/Georgetown game Sunday afternoon. My boss gave me his tickets that were 4 rows behind the net. This was when Georgetown had Patrick Ewing. He was a monster in person.

I worked over 24 hours straight. Best $5/hr job I ever had.
I was 21 years old and a senior in college.

Hey, I’m from the Cuse and I was at that show. Amazing show. I remember surprisingly that the best song was Cadillac Ranch, with the jam at the end, and the band jumping down the risers with each chorus. Crowd was wild.
