That was probably the Four Acres. I never actually attended a show there, but I heard several live broadcasts on WOUR in the late 70s. Horslips, Johnny Cougar (later Mellencamp), and Renaissance, I think, were among them.
Brother I believe you are right. Name sounds so familiar. I was going to Mohawk Valley CC in Utica while dad was stationed at Griffiss AFB in Rome. It was located off a main highway along the way.
