” five weeks after immunization at 84% effective at preventing hospitalization.”

what does that mean?

they got covid and didn’t need hospitalization?

were they even exposed to covid in that 5 weeks time?

it seems some sort of assumtion that reads like some thing great but really doesn’t have a specific meaning so it’s probably baloney information.

Seems to me that they are saying the vaccines may only be maximally effective for about 6 weeks, after which they start to become less effective over time at preventing hospitalizations.

Cathi got a link for that? I searched the text but could only come up with paywall results.
