Well, in the comments, the video was traced to an Alaskan photographer who said the river was only 5 inches deep at that point, so the moose only appears to be running on top of the water.

So if we are going by reality rather than mere appearance, Dan could be saying that things are really not as they appear (duh!), and/or that something we are seeing is merely an illusion.

As for playing it in reverse, maybe this illusion will be reversed, or undone, soon? (We can hope and pray!)

Just some thoughts off the top of my head.

Maybe it means we are going to see a repeat of something... rewound to the beginning and then repeated again. (Need to see it again to believe it?)

I really should be seated at my desk, paying close attention, and read the replies before I post. I said almost the identical thing while in the kitchen preparing dinner and reading on the run. (*sigh*)
