Most of our cats have been feral strays. Takes five minutes to tame them. They are creatures who love a soft bed and full full bowl.

That’s basically how I wound up with one of my three. She’d been living in our yard, but one day my wife left a door open and she snuck in. After she found food and a comfy place to lie down, she decided we would make good staff.

All my cats have been rescue yard babies who wander up.

I would disagree.....there was a yellow tabby living under the deck across the street for the past couple of years that I would set food out for her. After three litters, whose offspring eventually disappeared for some reason, she still would never come up to me when I sat a bowl of food out for her.

While I live in a subdivision, she has disappeared. Could be because of a possible coyote in the area whose tracks I have on my phone camera..At least I think they are when comparing them to dog tracks......
