On Sunday night, Meghan Markle made accusations of racism and heartlessness against the British royal family in an interview with Oprah Winfrey on CBS News. She said her life with the royal family left her suicidal. Independent journalist Megyn Kelly ripped Markle’s performance as “totally un-self-aware” and out of touch with most people who would love to live in a castle.
“I just didn’t want to be alive anymore, and that was a very clear and real and frightening constant thought,” Markle told Oprah. “I went to the institution, and I said that I needed to go somewhere to get help… and I was told that I couldn’t, that it wouldn’t be good for the institution.”
“In those months when I was pregnant [with son Archie]… we had, in tandem, the conversation of he won’t be given security, he’s not going to be given a title, and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born,” Markle said.

Yes on both counts! She's a failure of an actress and I think she saw Harry as an opportunity to catapult her into the type of stardom she knows she'll never attain based on her acting ability. I think that’s why they went to California. Heck, she couldn't even act her way through the interview from the tiny bit I watched. I do believe she'll become infamous and Harry willl be pitied when all is said and done.
The pot calling the kettle black. Megyn would know both.
There is no real way of knowing that the Duchess is at real fault, or media driven, when utterly powerless and dwarfed by an ancient institution known since biblical times.
I also find that, together, Harry’s and Meghan’s seeming happiness to be the truth that matters, and the telling of her abject unpreparedness for the Windsors of England, ti be honest, probable, predictable and rather damned American in nature.
Contrary to what she says, it appears Megan may have been very knowledgeable regarding the Windsors. Lady C posted this excellent information:

Megan Kelly is not one of my favorites, but this is great. Someone had to say it.
How astute. I think the same.
Kelly reduced herself to *brat*, all by herself. Seeing some celeb (like Kelly) clawing back ground so obviously over-eager, is never pretty, especially on the back of someone else’s work to expose another sensation story.
Oaf-rah did not self destruct. She’s rather grounded, a much more deft and sophisticated assassin than Kelly the rookie.
Gorgeous Lady C. Thanks for sending.
I was 7 minutes in before cutting away from Lady C, whom I thought was falling victim to exactly what she was attributing to Meghan.
Eg, a generous beginning toward the Duchess and charitable, before then sinking claws, assigning motives to Meghan and crawling around in her head for insidious thoughts and plots that will never be proven.
And, the lovely Lady is hawking her book. Sweet.
You’re welcome. Although I disagree with Lady C with regard to her strong take on Diana, I find it difficult to disagree with her when she speaks regarding Meghan. In this rather in-depth episode, I think she does an amazing job of analysis (and opinion, of course, lol).
Given Markle’s litigious inclination, she has to be careful in what she says and how she says it. However, I have noticed that increasingly, she has intensified her thoughts and opinions. I do learn a lot of information listening to her videos that I would not have otherwise known.
Ditto. Glad Megyn Kelly is finding her voice post Trump (whom she had among the biggest hands in bringing down with her conduct at the fateful 2015 GOP primary debate. Set the tone for how the media treated his entire presidency) — but she is out of her league when critiquing Oprah and rather hypocritical for attacking the Duchess , considering Kelly’s own dramatic bombshell exit from Fox News under the pretense of being victim of network’s toxic white male masculinity culture.
