The whole argument for why Biden supposedly won, can be easily dismantled.
Even the biggest Trump haters admit that Biden had no enthusiasm, and people were simply voting against Trump.
Polls showed that Trump had good numbers on the economy and foreign policy, which are usually crucial for an incumbent running for reelection. Instead of screaming that Trump’s policies were a disaster, the Trump haters were merely giving short shrift to his accomplishments.
So it was obviously not his policies that drove a record turnout of people to vote against him. So what was it then? According to this article, and so many others that promote
this same narrative, it was people’s fear and disgust over Trump’s army of cult like racist followers, who they viewed as a dangerous threat.
If that’s the sole reason why all the enthusiastic support for Trump was bested by an even more motivated bloc of voters, who were determined to diempower Trump’s army of racist haters, then it’s only logical that minorities would be leading the way in their opposition to Trump.
But instead, Trump made significant gains across-the-board with minorities. His biggest gains were in majority Hispanic population counties. From the Rio Grande to the Bronx, Trump increased his vote in heavily minority counties from 100% to 300%.
This whole flimsy argument crumbles like a house of cards on this crucial metric, and is as revealing as Trump winning 18 out of 19 bellwether counties.
