Charleston is a lovely city. Lots of history, great hotels, restaurants, museums and plantations to tour. Nearby beaches are lovey. Many good golf courses. There are several indoor and outdoor shooting ranges.
Everything you said is true about Charleston.
...and then there's North Charleston..ugh.
