Here’s a story I would not have believed if I didn’t hear it directly from the source. I had lunch with a friend who is a patrol supervisor for a large law-enforcement agency in Southern California yesterday. He said they have had three incidents of death, two suicides, and a motorcycle crash that the cause of death was listed as covid. The victims were positive for covid when they died He said he found out because the families came in angry at their agency for the listed cause of death. He admitted there might be more, but since other families didn’t complain, he can’t be sure.
That’s happened a few times in Florida, I believe. I know my quilting friend’s relative died in an auto accident — mangled beyond belief — in FL, and the death was listed as Covid. The family was livid, fought it, and won — but was not easy!
