I’m just guessing, but I imagine he’s claiming - through his lawyer - that because of the ‘trauma’ of the event, he doesn’t remember anything.

In fairness, it’s not all that uncommon for people in horrific traffic accidents to have compromised memories of the events, although those memories frequently come back with time. Also, those people generally suffer some head trauma, something I haven’t seen reported by the media in Woods’ case.

In any event, the ‘I don’t remember anything, so I can’t give you any information,’ sure is a convenient excuse for not talking to the PoPo.

I was in a very serious rollover accident and I only remember bits and pieces, this was over 30 years ago. Something in our brain to protect us maybe??
