Books written in the 1930s. Dr. Seuss himself has been dead over thirty years. It’s absolutely ridiculous these books aren’t public domain right now. The government made intellectual copyright laws ridiculous all to protect Mickey Mouse.
If they were public domain, this whole thing wouldn’t be an issue right now. The free market would decide their fate, because nobody would print these books if they weren’t profitable because everyone hated their racism that much and never bought them.
That pretty much fits many issues I feel very passionate about.
The Neanderthals haven’t demanded it because we understand that both successes and failure of human history should be preserved. So that our progeny learn exactly how wrong evil ideologies are.
