man oh man, poor Alabama. i’ve reluctantly come to the conclusion that all these professional politicians in both wings of the uniparty are bad for the people and America—even in the red states, these people are killing us, perhaps just more slowly.
we’d all be far better off with none of the above, just take all there resignations and start over. and the like some wise man said, i’d rather have the first 100 names in the phone book. just put them in: random selection.

Yep, we’d be better off picking office holders by lottery the same as we do for jury duty (as long as there were strict term limits in place).
OH WELL, guess we can watch the tourist dollar flow to Florida Panhandle and Missippi Coast while the Redneck Riviera languishes for another month (although my son owns a house in Gulf Shores and says NOBODY is wearing a mask down there at all).

I have been unable to find a health care organization in Alabama that did not call on MeMaw to keep the mask restrictions in place.
It really comes down to this: many believe wearing a mask is at worse a minor inconvenience and might actually save a few lives therefore ‘wear a mask’. Curiously, it is the upper elites that support masks the strongest because it affects them the least. They can call for delivery, work at home, etc.
I will self censor my opinion because I have no desire to be banned from FR.
I will just say that I am not surprised.

She’s probably not going to run again, and Lt Governor Will Ansley will run next election. At least he has some ballz!
