Isaiah 44:24 – 45:7 is the section mentioning Cyrus.
Thanks for mentioning that. More than just mentions, Cyrus is called, "My Anointed", the only time in the Bible for a pagan. David for instance is also called, "My Anointed".
That passage also makes reference to the defeat about 150 years after Isaiah's writing of the Babylonians by the Medes and Persians alluded to in the Daniel Chapter 5 passage (Handwriting on the Wall). This story is expanded by the Greek historian, Herodotus as he explains how Cyrus diverted the Euphrates River so his invading forces could invade the great walled city. I'm convinced that the incredible countenance expressed by Cyrus in his decree to allow Israel to return to their homeland (satisfying Jerimiah's Prophecy of a 70-year desolation) is because The Prophet, Daniel showed Cyrus what Chuck Missler referred to as, "A Personal Letter From God and penned by The Prophet Isaiah more than a century earlier". This included calling Cyrus BY NAME and stating. "Cyrus, who did not know me" (a pagan). One of the most powerful prophecies in The Bible and yet, so few people know of it.
Come on Pastors, get this material out there!!!!!! And we need to encourage our Pastors to do so!

Haven’t heard anyone mention Chuck Missler in a while. Saw him once. Is he still around?
