You would have heard if neither of them if there were not a multitude of anons digging stuff up on them, they would have been under the radar side notes... They were exposed by the women being abused who went to left-wing news outlets in addition to law enforcement. The New York Times investigated and exposed NXIVM, not a bunch of anons. There's no evidence any of these 4chan/8chan/8kun anons dug up anything in regard to either other than to spread disinformation.

No they weren’t, they were originally an obscure story about hacking and the people connected, including the Clintons, in 2015, and their possibly being a “cult”.
The ‘chans were on the stuff before the Times ever woke up to it at least 2 years before.
