These books are often a scam supplemented by other DS interests ... it would be curious to see who was actually “buying” this book and whether the “bought” copies were actually used for anything other than money laundering.
Cuomo got his payoff with the advance on the book. I suspect they know going in that there’s no money to be made on the book itself. Nobody wants to read that self-aggrandizing drivel. It irritates me to no end that the publishers got 100’s of millions for “text books” under Obama and this is the source of the payoffs to those who do the DS’s bidding - unsuspecting taxpayers.
The only redeeming feature of this arrangement is that it positively identifies those who are working hard for the DS, in case we had any doubts - McMaster, Cuomo, Obamas, etc.
So the people who’d like a favor are halting their bulk bribe purchases that fostered a big advance?
