The Rush Limbaugh Television Show Complete 1994 (YouTube)
YouTube ^ | Fall 1994 | Rush Limbaugh

This came up on YouTube for me this evening: an entire half-hour episode of Rush's TV show, from 1994.

Rather neat to see that even before the Internet was a routine thing in our homes, Rush was using online like CompuServe to go around the mainstream media.

I was too young to watch this, but I think it wasn’t that popular, because it didn’t have shows around it. The same thing happened with Glenn Beck’s CNN Headline News show.

That brings back great memories. I always recorded is show on VCR and watched it the next morning around 5:30 while I was stretching before heading to the gym. I had the same thoughts at the time — “How does he do it?”

“He was very accomodating signing autographs and talking to the audience after the show. God, I miss him.”

I feel like I lost a father, a grandfather and my best friend all in one day.

Do yourself a favor and get a Rush 24/7 membership! You can access his Audio library going back forever, including parodies, Dittocam, audio files, interviews, etc.

I turn it on during my workday, and EVERY WORD out of Rush’s recorded mouth is applicable to today. Hell, even the names of the politicians, going back decades, has changed very little!

WELL WORTH the cost, and I promise you, it will do your heart good.

Here’s a channel that has a couple of five hour compilations of Bush’s show.

Jim Sasser was indeed defeated for reelection by Fred Thompson in November, 1994. He turned out to be the only ‘Rat incumbent senator who was defeated. Richard Shelby of Alabama walked across the aisle almost immediately after the 1994 election and became a Republican.

Same here. It kept me sane. I was going through some rough times then.

Those old commercials. Remember Hooked on Phonics and The Club?
