We had an amazing deli in the LG&E building in downtown Louisville. Really good food and prices. The building is pretty much shut down (since last April) and the deli closed its doors for good. That is the real effect of the lockdowns.
The comical part was the owner is a staunch Trump hater and was blaming Trump for the lockdown. I had to chuckle inside. I mean that when we went to full WFH and I bought my last BLT she was in a foul mouthed tirade against Trump.
So I suppose there is poetic justice in the world. I’m sure saving a lot of money and calories. :)
Trump bears some blame for the lockdowns. He let this whole thing go into motion by not directing re-opening by Easter Sunday as was his intention.
