My first trip to NYC was by train from DC. I will never forget walking from the train and going up the stairs to the street level and hearing the city as I ascended. When I stood on the sidewalk I looked straight up to look at how tall those buildings were. Then I remembered that only tourists walk around with their necks craned looking up, so I lowered my head and only lifted my eyes.
De Blasio and Cuomo have ruined a great city.
