If you renounce your USA citizenship while you still reside in the USA, what can they do to you?
Nothing - as far as I can tell.
Deport you? Where? You no longer have a valid USA passport. You are not a citizen of any other country. No country would accept you.

They will get free money, housing and telephone. The politicians will rush to give them a drivers’ license, the de facto Citizenship Identity Card that allows you to vote, open accounts, buy property.
The people who worked hard to build up this country will get the bill for it all and be accused of racism for complaining.
