We’re not going to give up on POTUS Trump, until he directs us to his replacement that he believes will most replicate the Trump Doctrine & Agenda, and the required Steel Spine ability to drive it home.
Desantis is Wonderful! A great guy. I love him. If I had to guess, Trump might want the proven and accomplished foreign policy experience of Pompeo.
Pompeo looks especially Confident and happy. He was silent as a tomb in that Newsmax interview, following his speech at CPAC. They were rattling off some of the ordinary Wannanees list. Pompeo’s reaction was silence and that characteristic grin.
Then, he cheerfully deflected.
Pompeo would fill the bill as one who stuck with Trump though thick and thin.
But the VP job is the least important in DC so long as the president is alive.
On the other hand, the secretary of state is always in the middle of some catastrophe and Pompeo has proved that he can not only do that job, but do it in a way that puts the United States first.
So there is a really tough question of where he would be the best pick.
