I believe that Trump is working on DeSantis for the job. he has the advantage of knowing the political class and who he can trust. He can bring in a lot of folks from Florida. Trump was absolutely alone a the top. Even his apparently solid choices all betrayed him, and America, except for Pompeo.

Agree. Watched Trumps speech yesterday; while it would have been ok to spend a minute or two commenting on the election he went on and on about it. Thought he would never stop.
I agree. I love Trump, but we need someone younger.
Incidentally, it was a pretty close race between Desantis and Gillieum. And practically everyone knew Gillieum was on “the downlow.”. (Gay but married.). People are idiots. I doubt if DeSantis could keep the schedule that Trump was able to keep. Trump may be old, but he has the energy of 10 young men.
Let’s see who can deliver in ‘22. Whomever gets our folks elected earns a shot at the top job.
I don’t think Trump can win again. I think he will be too old. By 2024 we will be tired of old folks. Time for a new generation.
