Or just stop. The primaries are three years away. Time will tell. Desantis has a reelection next year to show his chops under the magnifying glass. He will be tested, and frankly, needs to show he can run a much better campaign than 2018 when he barely squeaked by with a pretty weak campaign message.
We have several good options including Trump for next time. He is undoubtably the biggest draw right now. Events will guide how bad the democrats are seen through the mid terms.

DeSantis has done a great job as governor here in Florida and I don't want to lose him. That being said, he will have to up his game to run for president because he only won the governor's race by .44%. This was against Andrew Gillum, a closeted homosexual who was found stoned out of his mind when the gay prostitute he was with overdosed on meth, meth that Gillum undoubtedly was sharing with him.
It's not a very comforting thought that we came within .44% of having a freak psychopath like Gillum as governor. Someone like that coming that close to winning shows that DeSantis' campaign was lacking, Gillum shouldn't have been anywhere near winning.
