Trump was at his peak at the close of the 2020 election. He had completed a superhuman campaign sweep across the country that only a few would have had the stamina to match. He likely won by over 30 million votes. But he couldn’t seal the election without any judicial/police enforcement to counter the fraud.
It will likely be harder for us to win the next time. What is anyone doing to mitigate the roadblocks for the next election? Popularity alone is not going to win, and republican establishment types think they are in control (e.g. Cheney, McConnell....). They would love to pick the next “more moderate” loser candidate.
Rather than asking whom or whom not should be the next set of candidates for 2024, should we not be trying to address and undo what went wrong in the lead-up to 2020?

Probably, though, judging from last time, it's the other fifteen or so guys who should stay out of it and leave the race to candidates who have a shot at winning.
Trump is not a god to be worshipped....just a man with all the foibles of any human. Just because I don’t bow down to him doesn’t lessen my right to disagree with some of the things he has done or supports. That’s how it works with in a free republic such as we have. I question everything and I bow to no one.....I’m not a sheep. I supported many things he did do and voted for him twice.
And if you choose to think having a difference of opinion is smearing someone that’s your right.
