Good news is bad news, apparently, for federal officials - the reduction in Coronavirus cases is going to let our guard down against a rising number of variants. They actually call the reduction of Coronavirus cases “troubling numbers”.

These bureaucrats want to keep their fear-based job. Their livelihoods are based on fear. This is true for the government officials and the media reporting their fear.

Links above relate to Coronavirus’ impact on conditions in prisons and youth prisons in US and UK. This is mostly reported by only the UK press for some reason. There is a lot of solitary confinement and restrictions on visits which is not the healthiest thing to do.

Older article on the forced quarantines imposed by schools due to too strict contact tracing. Kids who test negative but went near someone who was positive are getting 14 day quarantines. It sort of relates to the prison articles above - forced periods of excessive isolation for people.
